Petrus Aged Red is a blend of a pale ale that has been aged for two years in special oak barrels and a brown dubbel fermented with cherry juice. Connoisseurs call it an example of a fruity beer with a perfect balance between sweetness and acidity. The drink has a beautiful red-brown color and good foam, and is very easy to drink, despite the rather high strength. Part of the brewery's benchmark lineup, all of whose varieties are aged in proprietary footers.

Flavor features

A luxurious, refreshing taste dominated by notes of ripe cherries and hints of malt. Caramel nuances can also be discerned in the aroma.

Gastronomic combinations

The beer can be served alone as an aperitif or digestif. Also the drink goes well with smoked meats, meat delicacies, a variety of snacks and chocolate.
